Brian Urlacher is an accomplished former NFL player who played for Chicago Bears from the start of his professional career in 2000 to the time he retired in 2012. The linebacker was popular for his skills and his trademark bald head. Today, Brian Urlacher’s hair has been restored and that’s because of a successful hair transplant.
Urlacher wasn’t always bald as shown on his high school yearbook picture on the left. He attended Lovington High School and graduated in 1996.
He was also not completely bald at the start of his professional career. While he had very short hair, it was still not totally gone in this image.
The professional football player started to shave his head and went completely bald. Aside from his fearless moves in the field, his baldness became his trademark.
He kept that trademark until his retirement in 2012. Urlacher spent all 12 years of his professional career with the Chicago Bears.
In January 2016, the former NFL linebacker revealed his new look at the WGN-TV where he surprised everyone with his full hair!
The ex-football star known for being bald looked almost unrecognizable with his full hair and that’s in a positive sense.
It turned out that Urlacher underwent a hair restoration procedure in 2014 and it was done by Dr. Ketona’s clinic in Oak Brook, RESTORE. The said procedure lasted for 8 hours.
He had to keep it a secret to the public so he often hid his head with a cap from the year the procedure was done to the great reveal. Unsuspecting friends and even other family members didn’t know they were up for a big surprise.
Urlacher shared that his daughter thought that his new hair wasn’t that bad so for him it was a good thing.
He was comfortable with his bald head, but was also curious on how he would look like with full hair. Now he knows and it looks great!
